Models, ratings and practical differences

The GFMH family is described for long-term operation from −20°C to 65°C without relying on an air-conditioned room. The catalogue recommends −10°C to 45°C and states a 10-year design life at 35°C. Options include 6V 100–200Ah, 12V 55–250Ah and 2V 100–3000Ah cells. GFMZH adds narrow front-terminal 12V models from 55Ah to 150Ah.

How to choose

Start with the load, charger and available space.

Send the information you already have. We can narrow the model list and point out what still needs to be checked.

01

Use the real temperature profile

Provide normal, maximum and seasonal ambient temperatures plus time spent at each level.

02

Review charger compensation

Higher temperature changes float-voltage requirements and accelerates aging if charging is not controlled.

03

Select the physical format

Choose standard blocks, narrow front-terminal cases or 2V cells based on rack, service and string architecture.

Typical applications

Where buyers use this battery family

Tell us about the equipment and duty cycle. We will help check whether this series is a practical fit.

01

Outdoor telecom

Review cabinet heat, solar gain, rectifier settings, autonomy and service access.

02

Utility standby

Define string voltage, float conditions, room temperature and monitoring.

03

Hot-climate backup

Compare thermal-management cost with the battery duty and expected replacement interval.

Product FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

We will confirm current availability, documents and commercial terms for the exact model you select.

Does −20°C to 65°C mean full performance everywhere in that range?+

No. It is a catalogue operating statement. Capacity, life and charging requirements remain temperature-dependent.

What temperature is recommended?+

The catalogue states a recommended range of −10°C to 45°C.

What is the design-life basis?+

A 10-year design life under 35°C is stated. Actual service depends on float voltage, temperature history and discharge duty.

Is a high-temperature battery a substitute for ventilation?+

No. Installation, ventilation, safety, charging control and access still require project review.

Which format is best for telecom?+

Front-terminal GFMZH may suit narrow cabinets, while standard GFMH blocks or 2V cells may fit other architectures. Confirm the cabinet and DC string.
