Models, ratings and practical differences

NPF Series places terminals at the front of a narrow 106–109mm case for rack and cabinet access. The catalogue lists 12V 55Ah, 80Ah, 100Ah, 120Ah, 125Ah and 155Ah models, an eight-year design-life statement, flame-retardant case availability and UL reference MH28022. Capacity still varies with discharge rate, so autonomy must be calculated from the required outage duration.

How to choose

Start with the load, charger and available space.

Send the information you already have. We can narrow the model list and point out what still needs to be checked.

01

Start with cabinet depth

Confirm length, height, terminal clearance and removal path; all models are narrow, but not the same length or height.

02

Calculate autonomy at the right rate

A 100Ah model provides a catalogue-listed 60Ah at the one-hour rate, not 100Ah.

03

Plan string service

Define series count, string redundancy, breaker or fuse arrangement, cable access and replacement procedure.

Typical applications

Where buyers use this battery family

Tell us about the equipment and duty cycle. We will help check whether this series is a practical fit.

01

Telecom base stations

Review DC bus, outage duration, rectifier settings, cabinet temperature and remote alarms.

02

Network and data cabinets

Confirm front access, footprint, discharge current and maintenance window.

03

Remote-site backup

Account for temperature, service intervals, recharge availability and transport access.

Product FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

We will confirm current availability, documents and commercial terms for the exact model you select.

Why use a front-terminal battery?+

It keeps terminal and connection access at the cabinet front, reducing the need to reach behind a deep battery block.

Which models share the same case?+

NP80-12-F and NP100-12-F share the listed 394 × 109 × 286mm size; NP125-12-F and NP155-12-F share 551 × 109 × 288mm.

How do I estimate one-hour backup?+

Use the one-hour capacity column and the actual end voltage, then include aging, temperature and design margin.

Is a flame-retardant case standard?+

The catalogue says a flame-retardant case can be made. Confirm the exact case material and document for the ordered model.

Can these batteries be used outside telecom?+

They can suit other narrow-rack standby applications, but voltage, charge profile, runtime and installation must be qualified.

Product inquiry

You do not need a finished specification to contact us.
